Today sees the release of Remnants book.  The 86 page book is available in paperback and two hardback editions from our blurb shop.  See preview below.

Remnants - Full Set of Images Released on Flickr

The completed Remnants project can now be seen on my flickr account (Remnants Set on Flickr).

The Remnants projects has now grown from the initial one book to two.  The first book, which will be available in the next couple of weeks, is an 86 page book featuring all the images of the Remnants projects plus a few extras that are related to the subject matter.

A second book is currently in the editing stage and unlike the main book is very nearly full colour.  This book serves as a guide to the locations used in the Remnants project.  Both books will be available from my Blurb shop.  Details will be released closer to the time.

A Walk Out

 Although the recent weather has kept me in most of the time, it does has certain advantages.  Water being one of them.

Last week I took a walk out to Lumb Spout.  This local landmark is normally quite a sedate location but the amount of water that has fallen recently has meant that the fall is flowing quite violently.  It also meant that the midges were really biting too!

Anyway, here are a couple of my images from the walk.

Surprises of a Pixel kind!

Last week, Bob, Barry and I began work on the latest edition of Pixel, the photographic magazine of Pennine Lancashire.  This month we have a very special contributor!  More details to follow shortly!

Wildlife

During the last week I have been following a family of Treecreepers.  I managed to get a few shots before the youngsters fully fledged and left to the woods.  Here's one of the images.

Marsden 100 - The Film

Well, it's now half past midnight and I've just burnt to disk the master copy of the Marsden 100 film.

Tomorrow it will get its first airing with a meeting of the Friends of Marsden Park.  Keep an eye on this page tomorrow night.  A low resolution version will be on here at some point!

Now time for my bed!  Good night!

Remnants in Pixel

Today see's the launch of the July edition of our photography magazine, Pixel.  This month the magazine has gone all black & white with a monochrome edition and features articles on masters of the art, Bob Singleton's Paris photographs and a selection of my Remnant images.  It's well worth a look.

I would like to thank all those that help out on Pixel.  This month looks absolutely superb!
